Carbon steel is an iron carbon alloy with a carbon content of 0.0218%~2.11%. It's also called carbon steel. It also contains a small amount of silicon, manganese, sulfur and phosphorus. The higher the carbon content in general carbons steel, the harder and stronger it is. ASTM A36 Steel Plate is one of the most common grades of steel used in structural applications.
