Carbon steel is an iron carbon alloy with a carbon content of 0.0218%~2.11%. It's also called carbon steel. It also contains a small amount of silicon, manganese, sulfur and phosphorus. The higher the carbon content in general carbons steel, the harder and stronger it is.
S355JR steel grade is a European standard for hot rolled structural steel. Steel S355JR belongs to the table of non-alloy structural steels (EN10025-2: 2004). It is used for medium-high strength parts, good tenacity, easy forming and welding.
