Chemical Composition And Mechanical Properties Of Stainless Steel Coils:
430 is an iron stainless steel with medium Cr content. The brittle transition temperature of steel is above room temperature, and it is sensitive to notch. The 430 is not suitable for equipment parts that can withstand loads below room temperature, and steel is usually used with a section size of less than 4mm. 430 is rust proof in weak medium such as atmospheric water vapor, but when the medium contains high CI, the rust proof is insufficient. In oxidized acid, its corrosion resistance is close to 1Cr18Ni9.
